GMS Families, It is great to have everyone back after what seemed to be an enjoyable and relaxing break. We are back into the swing of things and hitting the ground running. As mentioned, we are now in a stretch of the year that is full of events, programs, and general overall busyness. This starts this coming week as we celebrate the Arts district wide. There will be different events but in particular our GMS chorus will participate in the district chorus concert on Thursday beginning at 6:30 PM at CHS. Please come out and celebrate their hard work and talent with them. This year's Kids' Vote is in and while Mr. Mitchell is spared this year, we still have a unique opportunity for the students to participate in the democratic process. Over the past few years, during Field Day we have added a mural to the walls of GMS. Our student council this year decided that this was what they wanted to vote on for the Kids Vote, so our students will have the chance to vote on which mural they will add. The choices can be found HERE.
As a reminder, Tuesday is a No School Day for students, but please remember to go vote in the town and school elections and bring your children along so they can vote for our mural.

GMS News A note from Nurse Alexa Spring is quickly upon us and that brings lots of snow melt which causes wet/muddy conditions. While there is still plenty of snow for sledding and other winter activities, it also brings lots of wet pants and socks. I encourage you to send your student with an extra pair of each if possible. Additionally, if you have extra pants that no longer fit your student, I will gladly take donations. If your student does come home in a different pair of pants, I ask that you wash them and have your student return them to the nurse’s office. Thank you, Nurse Alexa Family Art Activity Night The National Art Honor Society from Campbell High School will be hosting a family art activity night from 5:00-7:00pm on March 19, 2026. This is the night of the spring parent teacher conferences, many families may already be planning to visit GMS that evening. The event will take place in the art room at GMS; there will be several art activities to explore. Our CHS students can't wait to share their love of art with the younger students of Litchfield.
