What an exciting week here at GMS. We began the week with our Relay Recess to support the American Cancer Society. It was a beautiful day for the event and we thank Mrs. Quimby and her many volunteers who pulled this important event together. In the end we raised $10,538.40!!! This makes us the highest fundraising team for the Greater Manchester/Concord Relay for Life! Way to go GMS!!!
A Reminder that we have switched to electronic report cards. On the last day of school, students will come home with an envelope containing iReady results, NH SAS results (3rd & 4th Grade), and a letter. That letter will contain the information you need to access the report card as well as the name of their teacher for next year. On the last day of school, we will have a step up day, where your child will get to go and spend some time in their classroom for next year, meet their teacher, and see who their classmates will be.
It is hard to believe that this is the last newsletter of the 21-22 school year. This year hasn't always been easy, but it has been rewarding. We have seen your children grow, shine, and thrive. Creativity has flourished as challenges were presented. It has been an honor to work with the students, families, staff, and community that make GMS and Litchfield the greatest communities in NH. We end the year with the question that started this journey and kept us moving forward: Now What???
Over the next year, the Litchfield School District will be undertaking several significant projects related to our school facilities. As announced last week, we are developing email lists that are specifically targeted to the project in each school. We have close to 300 people who have signed up to receive these newsletters, and the first version of each newsletter will be emailed next week.
Depending on your interests, you may opt in to receive periodic communications about the GMS project, the LMS project, the CHS project, or any combination. We will endeavor not to flood your inbox, but provide brief regular updates when we have important information to share, or to notify you of public meetings and presentations over the summer and into the 2022-2023 school year.
It is not too late to subscribe to the newsletters: Please click this LINK and complete the form.
Be well, Mike

When you send an email please include the following information:
