GMS Families, After a long summer break, our halls were once again filled with the sounds of students. It is such a sweet sound that truly brings us joy. Earlier this week we were also able to gather for a whole school meeting, something we haven't been able to do for almost two and half year. We were pleasantly surprised with how well the students handled this unfamiliar setting. In just four days, we are happy to report that, drop off and pick up are running close to on-time. Each day we shave a few minutes off the process and get closer to on-time. As a reminder, if you are dropping off or picking up, please DO NOT pass any stopped vehicles. This process is single file so that we can ensure the safety of all involved. Now that we are officially in September, we have a lot of exciting events and opportunities coming up. Please be sure to read this weekly newsletter for information about Picture Day, Open House, and (believe it or not) Scarecrow Jubilee and Pumpkin Fest. If you haven't already be sure to like and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and happenings throughout the week. Be Well, Be Curious, and THRIVE,
Dan Mitchell, Principal Maura Clinton-Jones, Assistant Principal
